Wakeboarding behind a boat or on a cable we all know, but on the Northsea while you’re behind with a horse? It is perhaps one of the youngest (water) sports; horseboarding. Because what do you have to do as a kitesurfer in the winter if the wind doesn’t blow and the cableparks are still closed? Time for a new experience!

What do you need for horseboarding?

Basically the only thing you need for a good horseboard session is a strong horse, a rider and a wakeboarder. It is similar to wakeboarding, the only difference is that you are being pulled by the horse. You can choose to do it on the sea but ofcourse it’s also possible to do it on land with a long-/mountainboard.
